ABSTRACT
Dilbert is an impressive American comic strip written by Scott Adams. It tells a white-collar satirical humor which presents an engineer Dilbert as the major character. The conversation among the characters in Dilbert indicates the implicit meaning. It encourages the writer to do the research. Hence, the writer has an idea to identify the appearance of implicature, to describe its meaning and to reveal the maxims which are violated by the characters in Dilbert cartoon strips.
