NATURAL LAW IN THE ADVENTURE OF THE MAIN CHARACTER AS REFLECTED IN RUYARD KIPLING’S THE JUNGLE BOOK: AN OBJECTIVE APPROACH

ABSTRACT




The title of this thesis is Natural Laws in the Adventure of the Main Character as Reflected in Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book: An Objective Approach
The objective of this study is people know what is the natural law, people know why the natural law always exists and people know about the reason why the natural law can change the human character.

This study is grouped into a library research. All data are collected through observation and documentation. The primary data are taken from the novel entitled The Jungle Book, while the supporting data are taken from other sources in relation to the topic of the study. Then, they are analyzed through descriptive qualitative method under the objective approach proposed by Abrams.

The result of the analysis shows that Mowgli is emphasis, swollen, responsible, consistent, and smart and fear.
Then Mowgli’s characters can not be separated from his insolvent in the nature. The factors include internal and external factors. The internal factors are Mowgli is a little boy who has brown skin and brown eye. While the external factors the environment, animals and the natural factors.
